Test Results

It is our policy for patients to make an appointment to see a doctor for the results of tests. Results may be provided by phone via a Telehealth Appointment. Most tests are available within two to five working days, unless advised otherwise.

Reminder System

The practice is committed to preventative care. We ask your permission for you to be included in our reminder system. As part of this reminder system, you may receive reminders for pap smears, immunisations, and health assessments if they are recommended by your doctor. If you do not want to be part of this system, please advise the doctor or the receptionist.

SMS Reminders

Our practice software may send out automatic SMS text reminder messages to patient’s mobile phones the day before a scheduled appointment. If you do not want to be part of this system, please advise our receptionists to opt out at any time.

Med certificates/referrals/scripts

Your regular Doctor may be able to provide you with a referral or script, or a medical certificate (sick, workcover, TAC or carers).

Please note referrals and certificates cannot be backdated under any circumstances

Phone Calls

You can contact your doctor by telephone during surgery hours. Emergency calls will be dealt with immediately. Some doctors prefer not to be interrupted during consultations and the receptionist will take a message from you and relay them to your doctor when they are available. Contact by email is not routinely available.

Home Visits

Home visits can be arranged for regular patients who live nearby with one of our Doctors. Please note: the home visiting doctor may not necessarily be your regular GP.

After Hours Arrangement

When the surgery is closed, please ring 13 SICK (13 74 25) to arrange a doctor to visit you at home or you can visit the closest hospital Emergency Department, or in an emergency call 000.
